Facilitated by Lynne Hartwell, former member of "Wind, Sand, Desert Feet", a performing Middle Eastern Dance Troupe (2003-2012). She also has instructed Basic Bellydance classes & workshops in MA and CT since 2012.
Bellydance celebrates the beauty of the human body. It is an excellent form of fitness for all body types, ages, and physical ability.
It also seamlessly aligns, balances and unlocks blocked energy in our chakras, encouraging greater health and well being, lessens anxiety, improves memory, etc. Join Lynne Hartwell as we learn basic Bellydance movements, learn how the movements are connected to each chakra, and have a lot of FUN in the process!
This class is designed for both women and men (yes, in many Middle Eastern cultures it is normal for men to Bellydance too!), for all abilities and ages. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Chairs will be available for those who cannot stand for 2 hours.
