Calling all who dream of writing . . .
Have you always wanted to write but haven’t felt comfortable granting yourself permission? Or do you already enjoy the craft of writing, but secretly tuck your work away in the closet? Then the Writers’ Clinic may be the place for you. Under Debbie Slack’s guidance the Clinic will help empower you to pick up the pen, encourage you to write your story, and support you in sharing your work. Deb will provide a nurturing and inspiring space which will enable your thoughts and your feelings to flow onto the page. Conversations along with creative writing activities and exercises will embolden the shyest of pens.
Debbie Slack believes that everyone’s writing has value. She has been writing for over thirty years and is member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators and the Association of Writers & Writing Programs. Deb has completed a novel, HENRY COOPER AND THE GUTSY GIRLS, and several children’s picture books. She is presently seeking an agent to represent her work for publication. You can listen to her essay THE TREE FARM at http://wamc.org/post/listener-essay-tree-farm
Cost is $30 per session & space is limited. Adults only please. RSVP to Debbie at Debbieslack@gmail.com
